Conditions
Fatigue, Soaked, Cold, Overheated, Famishment, and Thirst use 1 Inventory slot each and each apply 1 Bane to all rolls.
Fatigue is gained as a result of exhausting activity such as
- getting fewest than 8 hours of sleep in a day. (+2 Fatigue.)
- pushing hard to travel an extra hex. (+2 Fatigue.)
Fatigue may be avoided by checking Con.
A character may have more than one Fatigue. A long rest removes 1 Fatigue.
Whenever Fatigue is gained, halve Grit, rounding down.
A night's rest removes 1 Fatigue.
Multiple Fatigues do not cause multiple Banes“x”.
Soaked is caused by being very wet. Soaked things may not be lit on fire.
Cold is caused by exposure to a very cold environment. Winter clothes prevent Cold (unless they are wet.)
Overheated is caused by exposure to a very hot environment.
Every 24 hours without food, gain one Famished condition and lose one Constitution point.
Every 24 hours (or per 12 hours if overheated) without water, lose 1D6 Con and gain one Thirst condition. Assume there is a water source available nearby whenever characters are outdoors unless the environment would indicate otherwise.
