- Simple player-facing rules and simple GM procedures.
- Oldschool design.
- Dice rolls are roll-under.
- D6 base damage for weapons. Weapons are differentiated by ways they may be used rather than by damage dice.
- Emphasis on a campaign about a stable/gang of characters and about the world rather than about playing the same character from one session to the next.
