1. Core summaries: Status, Needs and Outlooks
   • OCN -- Nothing new to update since last time.
     • Model development cleanup efforts before release (GM, KPP)
   • ATM -- Noting new to update since last time
   • Land Ice -- Nothing new to update since last time
   • Sea Ice -- Nothing new to update since last time
2. Release 3.0 Action Items
   1. Multiple Streams
      • Run-time has been agreed on
      • Design of run-time configuration has not been specified yet
      • Seperate file for configuration of streams (at run-time)
      • Implementation started
        • Doug is working on the implementation of the stream manager
        • Michael is working on updating Registry
          • Registry generates a rough guess of the stream definition at run time
        • Michael is working on the run-time parser
          • It will read XML and configure the streams at run-time
      • Should be fully implemented by Aug. 15th
3. Workflow Modifications
   • Possibility of moving workflow modifications up (Order 1-2 weeks)
   • Reference document will be shared among developers
   • Changes effective July 21st 2014
4. ESMF Support
   • Need Yearly and Monthly time intervals
   • Built ESMF and linked it into MPAS to support alternate time managers (a branch exists)
   • Further explore this topic:
     • Will put together a list of requirements for a time manager.
     • Need to discuss CESM's plans for their time manager.
     • Michael will explore how difficult including CESM's time manager is.

Action Items:

• Define run-time format for multiple streams
