  1. Core status (outlooks, updates, etc...)
    • Atmosphere:
      • Lots of travel
      • Still focused on NGGPS
      • Focusing on getting in GFS physics
    • Sea ice, land ice, and ocean
      • Worked a lot on ACME stuff, and making sure the models are not terrible when they are coupled
      • Will work on comuting sea surface tilt
  2. Prospects for a v5.0 release
    • Follow up with other MPAS Developer as far as a timeline goes
    • Might try to include PIO 2 and other framework related modifications in it
  3. Framework modifications:
    • Testing infrastructure
    • Filter Infrastructure
    • Aggregated Halo Exchanges
    • Eliminating the mpas_constants module
