Gas heating technologies
ETMoses contains two different gas-fired heating technologies that can both be used for two applications: space heating and hot water. As described in buffers these technologies always need to be connected to a buffer.
The combined network gas heater is a condensing gas-fired heater that can be found in most Dutch households. These "combi boilers" produce water for both space heating and hot water and are quite energy efficient.
The space heater network gas is the same heater as the "combi boiler", except that it does not produce hot water, but only space heating. This makes them on average a little more efficient than their 'combi' counterparts.
The water heater network gas is a slightly obsolete means of producing hot water using a gas burner. The hot water is not stored in a boiler tank, but flows directly from the tap.
