The pages in this section describe the various items in the ETMoses menu. These menu items correspond to the main building blocks of ETMoses: Local Energy Solutions (LESs), profiles, topologies and market models. You can use the menu items to create new or open existing LESs, profiles, topologies and market models.

A Local Energy Solution (LES) is a locally defined energy system for which ETMoses performs load and financial calculations. A LES contains information on the installed technologies as well as on the network topology. In addition, you can couple a market model to your LES. All calculations in ETMoses are time-resolved. The time dependent character of all parameters is described by profiles.
