Colony PCR

- Place 50 ul of ddH2O in a 1.5 ml tube.
- Scrape a decent-sized colony from a plate and dissolve in the water.
- Heat at 95-98 °C for 5-10 min.
- Centrifuge at 12000 x g for 1 min.
- Use 10 ul of the supernatant as a template for the following PCR:
