VIDEOS/VIDGMPL.bik is a game trailer that plays when you sit on the game's opening screen for too long without interacting with it. The video will start with sound even if the game is tabbed out, leading to frightening moments. The video features several externally rendered cinematic clips of races and environments along with the output of the MakeFlyVideo command. The MakeFlyVideo part is where the camera seemingly zooms across the whole map quickly after the narrator finishes speaking and before the singing kicks in. The song used is Burn My Shadow by UNKLE a British musical outfit who have contributed music to many other games as well.

The name VIDGMPL was initially seen in Ratatouille. Before FUEL this video featured a montage of gameplay clips and not an edited trailer. In Sitting Ducks the corresponding video was called TRAILER.PSS which featured a montage of gameplay clips despite the name. In the PC version of Sitting Ducks the game attempts to play TRAILER.avi and fails, which results in the music restarting unexpectedly.
