Watch Face Configuration
G-Watch Wear watch face is configured directly on the watch.
Long tap the watch screen to show watch face selection menu and press "Customize" button enter watch face configuration.
Use horizontal swipes to change the configuration page. Current page is indicated with page (dot) indicator on the top.
Use bezel or vertical swipes to move between configuration options on a page.
Use back button to return to the watch face, changes will be applied immediately.
On complication page use long press to open complication selection menu.
Use single short tap to select another complication position.
Scroll down to see more configuration options. You can set custom border and background, the background shape depends on the selected border type.
Current color is indicated with left half of the inner circle. Right half shows the new changed color.
To change current color use color wheel to set base color (Hue), then use upper Saturation/Value bar to adjust color. Transparency can be set with the bottom bar.
You can also enter color hex value directly in text box, in format AARRGGBB.
To apply color settings in color wheel selector, tap the right half of the inner circle.
To reset color back to original value tap the left half of the inner circle.
To cancel color picker without any change to the current color, press back button.
G-Watch Wear App uses arrow characters for trend arrows. Some fonts has a blue square painted around the 45up and 45down trend arrows. This is not a bug or a feature of G-Watch, it is a feature of fonts used on the watch. The default GW4 fonts has it also,
If you want to get rid of this blue square around the arrows, change the system font style: open system settings on the watch, go to Display settings, scroll down to Font settings and change Font style. For example "Samsung One" font style works very well, you won't see any blue square around BG trend arrow any more...
If you don't like G-Watch watch faces and you don't care about BG graph, you can use G-Watch Wear App built-in complication provider to get BG values to your favorite watch face.
In your favorite watch face select the G-Watch BG Provider complication:
The following example shows its usage in Samsung Digital watch face distributed with GW4 watch (top-left complication):
If you want to see the BG graph then tap on the G-Watch complication. It opens a screen with the BG graph:
On some non-Samsung Wear OS watch the complication can be rendered so that the BG value is smaller than the delta text. In this case use the 'Swap complication text' option on the BG Panel configuration page (at the very bottom of the options list). The BG Panel options are the same for both watch faces.
