Uses Case 02: Removing a Medical Specialty

Actors:

• Administrator

Preconditions:

• The administrator must have access to the system.
• At least one medical specialty must already exist in the application.

Postconditions:

• The selected medical specialty is no longer available on the application.
• Any doctor or patient previously associated with the removed medical specialty will no longer have that specialty related to their record.

Main Flow:

1. The administrator sends the description with the medical specialty they wish to remove.
2. The application finds a medical specialty with the description.
3. The application removes the medical specialty from the list of available medical specialties.
4. The application finds all doctors with the same medical specialty.
5. The application removes the medical specialty from the doctor’s record.

Alternative Flow:

2a. The medical specialty can not be found, and the system displays a message.
