Meeting 1.1
Meeting was held in the Trottier Building on January 29th, 2020 from 2:00pm to 3:30pm

Items Discussed
- Michael and Shi Tong opened the meeting by announcing that the basis for the github repository had been set up (including the first few issues, wiki pages, readme and project board).
- Michael and Shi Tong also announced that rough notes for the requirements list and use case diagram had also been created the day prior.
- The first topic of discussion among the group was to review the project overview document and go through the existing rough list of requirements. After some modifications a working version of the list with 13 requirements (11 functional and 2 non-functional was agreed upon).
- Looking to next week, Xinrui informed the team that he was familiar with Heroku and Shi Tong stated that he has prior knowledge in creating persistence for apps. Both team members said they would be willing to work on persistence for the adoption app.
- Certain elements of the app's design, the project overview document and the project's administration were debated and settled on including:
- The team agreed to have one project board and to use issue milestones to cordon of each sprint.
- It was agreed that a user must create an account in order to view content on the website (such as adoption listings or to make a donation) and that once they make an account they can fill in their personal information later in order to create adoption listings, put a pet up for adoption or interact with the shelter.
- It was clarified that the recommendation section will be a text field where a user (owner or adopter) can write any question or concern to send to the shelter for response.

After finalizing the list of requirements (see #3 in the previous section) certain core functionalities were distributed for further specification as follows:
- Michael Frajman:
FR9: The system shall enable the pet shelter to respond to users' questions and give recommendations.
- Karl Koerich:
FR7: The system shall enable users to view the list of applications for their advertisements.
- Shi Tong Li:
FR4: The system shall enable users to view a list of pet profiles that are currently available on the adoption page.
- Xinrui Li:
FR5: The system shall enable users as well as the system owner, in this case, the shelter itself, to post an advertisement of their pet on the adoption page by providing a description (including reason) and photos.
- Jia Wei Sun:
FR1: The system shall enable users to create an account on the Login page of the website using a valid email, username, and password.
All use case specifications will ideally be completed by February 2, 2020.
- Michael Frajman:

Karl agreed to create a formal digital draft of our current use case diagram and add it to the wiki by later that afternoon.

All team members agreed to begin drafting elements of the domain model (starting by listing classes and attributes) and to have some notes by the next meeting.

All team members were reminded to keep track of their tasks and hours for entry into the effort table.
Follow-up
For the next meeting core discussion items will include:
- Drafting a domain model.
- Refining the existing use case diagram.
- Starting to more seriously discuss persistence.
The next meeting was agreed to be held late afternoon on February 1, 2020 over voice chat.
