axis is our REDCap server, for more information see REDCap.
bblrepo1.pmacs.upenn.edu (previously psycha1.med.upenn.edu) is our data repository server.
bblrepo1 is a PMACS server and is used for automated data dumps from our databases (Oracle, WebCNP, REDCap) and customized data dumps for investigators for active studies which are eventually loaded in Tableau as well. This server uses your PMACS username and password.
bblrepo1 is HIPPA compliant PMACS data repository server.
There are two ways to login:
Connect via F5
- Open a terminal
- ssh -Y [email protected]
- When prompted enter PMACS password
Connect via PMACS VPN
- Open a terminal
- ssh -Y [email protected]
- When prompted enter PMACS password
Saturn is secure file sharing server that hosts PHI and non-PHI data related to studies and personnel.
Saturn supports AFP, SMB, and NFS general file sharing for the Neuropsychiatry Section.
You must be on Penn Medicine WiFi or Ethernet network (from campus) or signed in to Big-IP/F5 or PulseSecure VPN (remote) to access.
- Open Finder, choose Go > Connect to Server
- In the Server Address field, enter afp://saturn.uphs.upenn.edu
- Enter your saturn username (same as your pennkey) and saturn password (not the same as your pennkey password)
- If you do not remember your password or have trouble connecting, post request to reset on Slack channel #it_issues
- Open File Explorer and then click “This PC” in the left-hand pane.
- Click “Map Network Drive” in the Network group of the Computer tab.
- The Map Network Drive window will appear. In the text box next to “Drive,” select the Drive Letter that you’d like to use. You can use any letter that’s not currently used on your device.
- Type
\\saturn.uphs.upenn.edu\FOLDERNAME
in the "Folder" text box. - You can also select “Reconnect at Sign-in” if you’d like to connect each time you log in to your device.
- Enter your saturn username (same as your pennkey) and saturn password (not the same as your pennkey password)
