Gargul allows you to compare your addon version with everyone in your group and shows you exactly who needs to upgrade or who doesn't have the addon installed. Gargul might not be necessary for everyone in your raid for most purposes, but if you want to be able to check raiders' inventories for (buff) items etc then this checker will come in handy.

To perform the version check you can use these slash commands:
/gl version
/gl ve

The output looks as follows:
