Awarding Items

Assigning / awarding items is necessary if you want to be able to export received items to TMB for example.

Awarding items that don't need to be rolled for

You can award items using the UI or by using a slash command. The UI is probably the easiest: hold the Alt and Shift buttons and Left Click an item, either in your inventory or in the loot window of whatever you killed. You will be greeted by the award window:

Award Window

You can also manually open this window by typing on of these slash commands:

/gl award
/gl a

Select a player, click the "Award" button and after confirming the dialogue box your item received list will be updated and can be exported to TMB for a hassle-free import of raid loot, more on that here.

If you want to award an item entirely without the UI then you can also type

/gl award [playerName] [itemLink]

Items that require rolling

If two or more raiders have the same prio on an item you might want to let them roll for it. If that's the case you can hold the Alt button and Left Click an item, either in your inventory or in the loot window of whatever you killed. You will be greeted by the masterloot window:

Award Window

A full explanation about this window is provided here. The most important thing to note here is that it's absolutely necessary to "Award" the item after everyone rolled, by selecting a player and clicking the "Award" button. If this step is forgotten then the item will not show up in the TMB export command discussed here.
