simrR is a set of tools for commonly found problems dealing with genomic data. It is meant as an series of extension to the very popular and powerfull packages GenomicRanges, GenomiceFeatures, Rsamtools and the likes.
- It provides fast parallelized functions to read and counts bam files
- Provides conversion function for GRanges to and from UCSC ‘chr’ convention
- Provides tools to convert exons per genes into there uxons/ixons and the likes
- Provides rapid and parallelized functions for standard mRNA-Seq QC
This package is still very much under development. Many functions are not fully stable and not bullet proof to all edges cases. If you find something that breaks, let me know. Also, documentation is lagging behind development but I am actively working on this and will catch up at some point.
If you like what you see, let me know!
