Describe the bug

When a student posts a question in a course where I'm an instructor, I sometimes get multiple notifications about the same question. This might be related to the fact, that I'm signed up as lower roles (i.e. tutor and editor) as well.

To Reproduce

  1. Post a questoin
  2. See multiple notifications as an instructor
  3. Maybe give the instructor lower roles as well and retry

Expected behavior

I should only get one notification.
