Version 1 or Version 2
In the last couple months, Version 2 has been thoroughly tested and is better in every way. Therefore, I don't recommend building Version 1 anymore even though most of our building resources are version 1 centric. Don't let that deter you however as we will be adding more Version 2 help and documentation soon and all of the hard stuff (wiring and pcb building) isn't version specific anyway. Really the only changes are in what parts you're going to be printing.
Version 2 features:
- Same electronics.
- 25% more torque.
- Smoother operation.
- Shorter so it fits more bikes. (49mm center of knob to front vs 60mm.)
- Much simpler assembly.
- Easier to print.
- Less printed parts.
- Less hardware.
