Semantic Consensus: Low

The Unix File Object is an extension of the File Object, so it inherits the same semantic issues, discussed here.

Semantic Completeness: Medium

Depending on how the File Object is refactored, there is the potential for additional unix/linux-specific file system properties (e.g., pertaining to ext3 and ext4) to be added.

Existing Use: Low

There is no known use of the UNIX File Object.
