Ubuntu theme for PuTTY client

Important -- the path in the .reg file needs to be updated

To manually apply theme from the PuTTY configuration window:

  • Make sure you have a saved session loaded
  • On the left, go to Window -> Appearance
    • Change font. PuTTY doesn't have Mono, so I use consolas, 10pt. Lucinda Console may be closer.
  • Then Window -> Colours
    • Click the colors to edit their RGB boxes:
Name R G B
Default Foreground 238 238 236
Default Bold Foreground 238 238 236
Default Background 48 10 36
Default Bold Background 48 10 36

To apply theme for all PuTTY sessions

  • Enable execution of PowerShell scripts

    Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned -Scope CurrentUser

  • Open PowerShell and execute the script

    ./putty-ubuntu-all-sessions.ps1
