Some account admins tried to upload .gif and gifs converted to .webp format using the StoreFront admin form which uses this app to handle the upload, but after the image being processed it is converted to a still image and all frames are removed. Here's an example of a gif that was uploaded with file-manager-graphql https://contemmakeup.vteximg.com.br/assets/vtex.file-manager-graphql/images/giphy___e01f72a081def5707f5252ba2989f5d0.webp

This is a feature that the legacy CMS allows, so there should be a way to upload and render animated images or short videos.
