slack-echobot

A simple Slack bot written in Python.

Docker

Build

$ docker build -t echobot .

Run

Ensure that you set TOKEN to a valid Slack token, see https://api.slack.com/bot-users.

$ docker run -itd \
      -e TOKEN=xoxb-23095483222-c7rYYq7pKaRcgp1LpU3V8w2d \
          echobot

Tag and Push

$ docker tag -f echobot industrieit/echobot
$ docker push industrieit/echobot

  • TOKEN - the Slack token for the bot user
