- Everyone is welcome, anyone can help
- Sense of humor required
- Impatience is unacceptable
- Uncommented code is as good as an empty file
- Meetings should happen as infrequently as physically possible
- Do things the hard way, so that we learn
- Do not fear complexity
- But at the same time, don't do something in a complex way for no reason. Do it because the end result is more reliable
- NO bullshit tasks for new people. Trust them immediately.
- Work done for free is always open source. No exceptions.
- Each leader shall always be a junior (Exceptions for extremely glorious people)
- Each leader shall be selected by the previous, announced two weeks before the competition
- Each leader shall serve a term of no more than one year, and then move on to other MIL projects
- Once leadership has passed on, they shall have sole ownership over the IEEE box, and all IEEE hardware and equipment
- Never stop preparing for the next year. Build a team that will last not falter when key members leave.
