## Simple Summary

Extending the ninth and subsequent governance epoch to 6 months from 4.

## Abstract

This TIP proposes extending the Thales governance epoch to 6 months. Previously the council would sit for an epoch of 4 months.

## Motivation

Decrease voter/nomination fatigue, and the increase stability of the sitting council.

## Specification

Extend the Thales Council governance epoch to 6 months starting with the ninth sitting council.

7 "Yes" are needed for this to pass as its a meta-governance TIP.

## Rationale

As Thales mature a longer sitting council will provide more stability between the members and tasks.
In its infancy the Thales Council would to sit for 6 months and was reduced to 4 months give opportunity to new members, this opportunity isn't loss and we are hoping to see less voter/nomination fatigue.
