Google Analytics dashboard to track the backend Magento admin page

Getting Started

Download the extension as a ZIP file from this repository.

If you're installing the extension manually, unzip the archive and upload the files to root folder.

Prerequisites before installation:

• Backup files and database.
• Admin Menu -> System ->Tools -> Compilation. Disable compiler status.

Installation​ ​and​ ​Setup

• After installing the extension log out your admin page and login again.
• Clear all caches.
• To enable extension, go to Admin Menu -> System -> configuration -> Synamen -> Admin Google Analytics -> under settings Analytics Id add your unique google analytics id also select Enable option to YES -> save config.

Overview

Google Analytics is used for tracking traffic patterns on your website. It is such a powerful, yet easy-to-use, product. By default, Magento Community edition provides the option to add Google Analytics code for frontend store. When a Magento merchant wants to track the backend Magento admin page views made by their sales team or admin users, there is no default option to add Google Analytics code for backend Magento admin pages. This extension will provide the option to add Google Analytics code for backend Magento admin pages. Check your Google Analytics dashboard to track the backend Magento admin page views.
