The 'taic' & 'itai' boxes are currently in the Committee Draft stage of the MPEG approval process. Early implementations are desirable to get feedback from the community.

'taic' - Clock Info Box: Provides metadata about source clock used to measure timestamps.

'itai' - Timestamp Packet: Provides a TAI timestamp with nano-precision.

Thanks. Merging this new public API into master will have to wait until it is fully implemented. I've created a feature-branch timestamp-properties. We could merge it to that until it is stable.
