ShareASale tag for Google Tag Manager Server Side

There are two types of events that ShareASale tag includes: PageView and Conversion.

• Pageview event stores the ShareASale URL parameter inside the sscid cookie.
• Conversion event sends a request with the specified conversion event data to ShareASale postback URL.

How to use the ShareASale tag:

Pageview - add the ShareASale tag to the pageview event.

Conversion events

Required parameters:

• Merchant ID - ShareASale assigned ID for your program
• Transaction Type - This is a ShareASale assigned value that identifies the action being tracked
