I enjoy learning and creating technology. I've been in the software industry for about 5 years now and it's been a blast.

In my spare time outside of work, I am working a new project called Open Source Labs, which is dedicated to helping lower the barrier to entry for engineers, who either want to get involved in Open Source, or desire a better understanding of the mainstream Open Source technologies they use on a daily basis. This would include technologies like NodeJS, PyTorch and Docker, to name a few.

The better we understand the technologies we work with on a daily basis, the better we become as engineers. The better we become as engineers, the happier we become in our day jobs. Happier engineer build better products and better products lead to more satisfied customers and users. Knowing this motivates me to build Open Source Labs.

Alongside building the Open Source Labs online platform, I will be developing what I'm calling the OSL Animation Engine. This project will enable me to produce animated videos with narration, to visualise the inner workings of previously mentioned open source technologies. I'll be publishing videos like this on my YouTube channel over the coming year of 2025 and into the future. Stay tuned for future content. I endeavour to publish videos on a monthly basis, aiming for quality over quantity.
