1. Open Windows Settings
2. Click on "Network & Internet"
3. Look for "IPV4 address". Thats your computers local IP. And what your family needs to enter in the direct connect menu to join.

If you are looking to let people outside of your local internal network. You will need to do some extra steps to allow external connections.

#### Port Forwarding

The server needs network ports to be forwarded so that people can connect. By default, the game server uses two ports:
* UDP `1212` is used for main game netcode. This is necessary for the *client* to be able to connect to the server. This can be configured with the `net.port` configuration variable.
