Allows the purging of sites whose domains point to different IP addresses than the Varnish server (e.g. if the domain points to a loadbalancer or proxy server, and only after that reaches the Varnish server). This capability was almost present before, so this is more of a bug fix than a new feature!

Also includes some refactoring, but no additional functionality.
