New BeatSaver Features and performance improvements!
MorePlaylists 2.0.0 is a rewrite of MorePlaylists with a healthier codebase, more features for filtering on BeatSaver, UI improvements and the removal of the BeastSaber API So, let's walk through what's new!
BeatSaver Filtering Options
BeatSaver now has better support from MorePlaylists with the ability to filter out empty playlists and the ability to view curated only playlists! Searching is also made easier by using the base game's smaller keyboard. You can also now look up a user on BeatSaver and view all their playlists by using the "User" tab in filters and typing their name or by clicking their name in one of their playlists! More filtering options will be added as they are added to the website and API.
BeastSaber removed
As mentioned earlier, the BeastSaber API is no longer supported by the mod as it is being phased out. All playlists on BeastSaber will now be available under the curated filter on BeatSaver. Not all playlists have been migrated, so please bare with the BeatSaver team as they get this done!
UI Improvements for other Sources
Additionally, the user experience for Hitbloq and AccSaber are improved too. The same base game keyboard from BeatSaver is available, minus the filtering options. The search algorithm is improved and finally, AccSaber now loads up faster thanks to a new API by Ixsen!
Performance and Stability Improvements
There should be less lag throughout the UI as most sprites are now downscaled. The mod should also be much more stable than earlier versions, if you have any issues with stability, please open an issue here on GitHub!
One last thing
If you're downloading before the ModAssistant release, please grab all latest dependencies from ModAssistant/Github. All dependencies except PlaylistManager and BeatSaberPlaylistsLib are on ModAssistant at the time of writing so make sure you get them.
