Hey @jcpowermac . The mainstream provides updates changing namespace alongside Go bump. Do you think we can use some fragments from this PR, like pooling improvement?

The v0.5+ incorporates the namespace standardization and go bump to 1.22.

The PR #133 is a tentative to bump to 1.23, feel free chown!
