Description
If you have a map in its own map panel, it has a certain size. In a carousel, the map interface is quite a bit smaller. Because of this, RAMP configs that were made outside of a carousel look very different when contained in a carousel or gallery. The smaller UI adapts to a different zoom level in order to keep the Canada extent fully in view.
This is not a "bug" per se, but an implementation that is confusing the clients. This issue is about investigating and either concluding that this is a limitation, or finding a solution that will ensure map consistency.

Steps to reproduce
Expected behavior
For maps in carousels to look the same as maps that aren't in carousels.
Actual behavior
Maps in carousels are smaller and more zoomed out than their gallery-less counterparts.
Possible solution
Is there an optimal size for maps in gallery/carousels? Are there tweaks that can be made to keep the style and function of the gallery, while making sure maps are operating at the same zoom level/extent?
