Can't be merged from the GitHub web interface because the tests are required status checks, but they are not activated, since this PR doesn't change any .py files. The required status checks must be disabled temporarily. |

I know it's right after the holiday, but I find the time it takes to release the 2.1.5 fix to be too slow. It's fine for the experimental frontend to be buggy. To make up for this, the patch releases should have happened sooner. |
