I can see that chatUpdate() is only called twice, when the user sends the message and when a channel the user is in receives a message. When the user sends a message (currently) it hangs, this is a bug multiple android v7 users have reported. It unhangs when it is called by the second method (channel message). The only difference I can theorize making the difference between the two times these are called is in the delta evaluation, so I want to try removing that to see if it prevents the hanging.
