Harmonize data to last REMIND iteration in coupled mode
The two models are coupled via energy service demand and fuel prices (from REMIND) and energy intensity and capital expenditure (from EDGE-T) on CES node level. Both models report FE and Emi on CES node level.
As REMIND converges, the output of both models still slightly differs.
To solve this issue, EDGE-T runs again after the last REMIND iteration to get the updated energy service demand and fuel prices. Then harmonization factors are calculated and applied on the EDGE-T energy intensity and final energy values.
The EDGE-T emission reporting runs with the harmonized final energy values.
