Welcome to the SelfConsistentIronLines wiki!
- Testing the Kerr Black Hole Hypothesis Using X-Ray Reflection Spectroscopy and a Thin Disk Model with Finite Thickness by Abdikamilov et al; we can compare Gradus results with these results using the transfer function and binned methods.
- Photon rings as tests for alternative spherically symmetric geometries with thin accretion disks by Dias da Silva et al. (2023); could try implementing some of these new metrics in Gradus.
- Active galactic nuclei with high-resolution X-ray spectroscopy by Gallo et al. (2023); could try simulating high resolution line profiles with Gradus.
- Observational Constraints on Black Hole Spin by Reynolds (2021) - see Fig. 1 for a plot of the different orbital radii as a function of black hole spin.
- Here's an interesting pre-print on the spin evolution of BHs in galaxies and what HEX-P can do in the future (if it is selected) - The High Energy X-ray Probe (HEX-P): Constraining Supermassive Black Hole Growth with Population Spin Measurements by Piotrowska and the HEX-P collaboration
- Information for writing XRISM proposals which includes response matrices can be found here.
- Investigate parameter degeneracies
- Investigate changing multiple deformation parameters to expand the work of Abdikamalov (2020).
