A Google Chrome extension enabling quick and efficient querying of a phone number via multiple search services.

Executive Summary

X is looking for a Chrome Plugin, that allows a research analysts, the ability to highlight a phone number, then right click and launch multiple online sites with the searches already conducted.

Desired End State Details

  1. The plugin can copy a number, from multiple formats and convert it to the appropriate format when its input into web search sites. Some sites require a captcha bypass before running. Each site may require a different input style. Examples: 5555555555 or 555-555-5555 or (555) 555-5555 or 555.555.5555 or 555 555 5555.
  2. When a number is highlighted and right clicked, the option to run against a google search string. However, the search would need to take the number and place it into a search string to hit all variations of the number. Example: "5555555555" OR "555-555-5555" OR "555.555.5555" OR "555 555 5555"
  3. Plugin can be altered to simply add or remove additional websites by X. Plugin should not report data, searches or information back to Google. Can the plugin be private, versus public on the Google app/plugin store?
  4. Plugin needs to be able to be run in Google Chrome Incognito mode, within a Virtual Machine environment.
  5. Additional option to run Facebook search separately, but not automatically.
