Description

It was previously not possible to abort a request that used the AWS SigV4 signer transport.

Issues Resolved

Fixes #819

Check List

  • New functionality includes testing.
    • All tests pass
  • Linter check was successfull - yarn run lint doesn't show any errors
  • Commits are signed per the DCO using --signoff
  • Changelog was updated.

This looks good! Leaving to @nhtruong to do a thorough CR. In the meantime, maybe document this feature in a user guide?

From what described in #819, this feature is expected/the-norm so we don't need to update the doc IMO.
