Upgrade the GitHub workflows in the following ways:

  • Create a reusable test workflow
  • Run tests on push and PR
  • Run release on pushed tags
  • Run a weekly test job, so we can notice problems sooner
  • Rely on OIDC tokens for publishing to PyPI
