As per the comments in there, replacing
K8S_NODE_NAME
withK8S_NODE_IP
makes more sense for thekubeletstats
receiver.Personally, I've come across the
K8S_NODE_NAME
being an issue in DigitalOcean managed Kubernetes cluster, and, as initially I was trying out the OTel Operator, that didn't give me an(obvious?)option to add an env variable to the final collector container.
