Background

Managing topic notes is proving unwieldy. I tend to send lots of bookmark links to big notes like "Python" or "Rust", which creates a follow-up chore to go back and organize those "Inbox" bullets.

I'd like to say I do that regularly. And I always intend to. But it doesn't happen. It's not a fun idea, so I don't end up doing it when time is limited (which it always seems to be!).

What's happening

This PR moves towards trying something new: take atomic notes that don't need any follow up gardening unless they prove useful. So, the notes page evolves from a tree of topics:

To a feed of recently modified notes, drafts and bookmarks:

Follow-ups

  • Migrate the majority of links sitting in topic notes to their own bookmark page
  • Add tags to all notes (most have none at this point)
  • Make the notes page filterable by tag(s)
  • Make the notes page searchable by text, tags, etc
