To my knowledge, NEURON supports longitudinal diffusion, which is pure diffusion, but did not support electrodiffusion which to me is diffusion could with the effects of distributions of charge. |

I haven't found any documentation about the keyword ELECTRODIFFUSION existing anywhere (NMODL, NEURON, NEURON history, ...), and the LONGDIFUS dir has an identical mod file (except that one has LONGITUDINAL_DIFFUSION instead of ELECTRODIFFUSION).
