With #224, a nice idea may be a notebook that compares methods of computing projection images. We can compare images and power spectra of
Projections directly from gaussians
Fourier slice using linear and cubic interpolation
Projections using nuffts
Then, we can choose one of these to compare against an implementation with ewald sphere curvature. We could write out the condition where the ewald sphere is expected to be important and make a plot showing the ewald sphere give increasingly different high resolution information.
Make notebook(s) with different detectors, etc illustration the components that can be mixed and matched.
