This release was tested in the lab on Controller 1.0-002 and Hardware 3.1-002.

Includes the following new features:

  • Multiple different alarm tones
  • Require confirmation button on changing settings
  • Add stop button with turnoff alarm
  • Add visual indicator LED for alarms
  • Discretize control variables to inuitve increments
  • Revamp motion control for more accurate timings
  • Major code refactoring for clarity
  • Preparation for open source

This release includes all baseline features required by the specifications in preparation for testing. It was tested on Hardware 3.1-005 and Control Box 1.0-001.

Major new featues include:

  • much cleanup and abstraction of components into external classes/files
  • timing fixes to ensure accuracy in respiratory rates
  • switch from UNO to MEGA arduino
  • SD card data logger
  • extended safety alarms with snoozing functionality
  • Assist control mode
  • Data logger for choosing type/format of logged variables

This release was tested at CBSET on 3/30/2020 using hardware model #? and control box model #003. It adds the new position controller to ensure consistent volume delivery at varying respiratory rates and IE ratios. It also includes bag specific calibration for control of volume in cubic centimeters.

Looking forward we hope to switch to a MEGA arduino board, to allow additional features such as alarms, logging, and assist control.

This release was tested at CBSET on 3/26/2020. It adds the new auto-homing procedure on startup using the limit switch. It aso includes the addition of peak, plateau, and peep pressures measured and displayed on the screen.
