Redmine Timelog Timer plugin

A leightweight javascript timer for Hours field in timelog form of Redmine. Originally forked from the ‘redmine timelog timer plugin’ which is no longer maintained.

Getting the plugin

A zip archive can be gotten from GitHub

Installation and Setup

  1. Follow the installation steps at: www.redmine.org/projects/redmine/wiki/Plugins#Installing-a-plugin Final path to init.rb should look like: /YOUR_REDMINE_DIRECOTY/plugins/redmine_timelog_timer/init.rb

  2. Restart your Redmine web servers (e.g. mongrel, thin, mod_rails)

  3. Login and open any project, click the ‘Log time’ Link in the right menu, click Start to start the timer

Upgrade

Zip or tar files

  1. Download the latest file as described in Getting the plugin

  2. Extract the file to your Redmine into plugins

  3. Restart your Redmine

Git

  1. Open a shell to your Redmine’s plugins/redmine_timelog_timer folder

  2. Update your Git copy with ‘git pull`

  3. Restart your Redmine
