I am an Assistant Professor at the School of Library and Information Studies, University of Oklahoma. Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the School of Information Sciences, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with HathiTrust Research Services under the mentorship of Dr. John Stephen Downie. I earned my Ph.D. in Information Science from University of Delhi. My research focuses on information retrieval, computational social science, science of science with particular emphasis on social representation and policy. I have worked extensively with textual data. My work combines qualitative and quantitative methods, including focus groups, survey and field experiments, and computational approaches.
