The small technical change is only the tip of the iceberg. In order to fix this properly I had to enable the “Cartes Bancaires” payment method in the Stripe dashboard. Since that requires inputting a SIREN, I asked the French administration to allocate one to the Liberapay nonprofit. This in turn required finding the appropriate form and figuring out how to fill it and who to send it to.
