We are excited to announce the first release of our communication middleware project! This middleware facilitates seamless communication between PLCs and the TRNSYS simulation software.

Highlights:

  • Bi-Directional Communication: Enables communication between Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and the TRNSYS simulation software.
  • Time Step Synchronization: Synchronizes time steps between the simulation and PLCs.
  • Configurable Server Management: Easily manage Modbus server configurations through a graphical user interface (GUI) or manual configuration.
  • Simultaneous Data Exchange: Supports RW operations from TRNSYS to multiple PLCs
  • User-Friendly GUI: Included server_manager.py script provides a user-friendly GUI for managing server configurations.
