merkletree

A Python implementation of the Merkle/Hash Tree Algorithm

This implementation uses distinct node objects which are designed to be easily traversible. Each node has references to it's children, parent, and sibling nodes. The tree has a convenience method for accessing the path from any node to the Merkle root. By using the add_adjust() method, new leaves can be added to an already built tree, without rebuilding.

Installation:

pip install merkle
