Guild is not really a "task runner" - this was an early description that no longer applies.
Tutorial highlights: - Change to code to expose hyperparameters - Automate experiments (using Guild AI in this case) - Use TensorBoard and HParams plugin to study results - By finding optimal hyperparameters, achieve comparable performance using 40% of the training time on the TensorFlow MNIST example
